Robbie Wielaert heads to Ajax
By: Tucker | January 12th, 2009It was just announced that veteran defender Robbie Wielaert has been transferred to Ajax. Per the Ajax club site, while the terms have yet to be finalized they anticipate a contract that will see him through July 2011 with an one-year option by the club. Twente President Joop Munsterman noted the clubs regret to see him leave and wished him the best of luck in the future.
