Perth Glory striker Nikita Rukavytsya expected to sign
By: Tucker | January 25th, 2009Following a successful trial period Perth Glory striker Nikita Rukavytsya is expected to sign with Twente shortly.
News reports suggest that offer was presented for the Australian U23 international prior to Glory’s 4-2 loss to Queensland on Saturday night in which he scored his tenth of the season.
Perth chief executive Scott Gooch said of possible transfer:
“Nikita is keen to take this opportunity and as a club we’re willing to facilitate the transfer if the deal is right. There are still some negotiations to take place and we’d expect that to happen over the next couple of days.”
